The Return of FIRE: Risk Communication & Resilience

Good Morning, Exciting news! Starting this summer, we are able to bring back FIRE: Risk Communication & Resilience.  If you have already signed up for or are still thinking about FIRE Summer Scholars, FIRE RCR will be an option (exactly how this will happen will be communicated to all FIRE Summer Scholars participants at a later date). FIRE RCR is on the FIRE Semester 3 schedule.  If you wish to join this FIRE stream in the fall, you can simply enroll for this section of the course.  Yes, you would be leaving your current stream.  Yes, that is okay (for this movement only - to RCR, from any stream).  No, you do not need any experience in risk communications or be any specific major. We are excited to bring FIRE RCR back.  Please let me know if you have any questions or concerns. Sincerely, Patrick Patrick Killion Director of Discovery-Based Learning Office of the Senior Vice President and Provost University of Maryland
