FIRE Courses - Fall 2020 Semester Information

Updated: Jul 15, 2020

Hello FIRE Students,

You recently received an email from me following The University of Maryland's announcement regarding Fall 2020 instruction and campus availability.

In order to keep you updated (and in case you did not receive the email), we have set up dedicated web pages for FIRE Semester 1 and FIRE Semester 3 students this Fall. These pages will always contain the latest information we have on FIRE instruction, research environment availability, and other aspects of FIRE program participation.

I am hopeful and positive about the Fall semester. This is a challenging time but the FIRE team remains confident in our ability to fulfill our core mission - provide UMD students a faculty-mentored research experience that drives professional development.

Sincerely, Patrick Patrick Killion Director of Discovery-Based Learning Office of the Senior Vice President and Provost University of Maryland
